Photo Shoot.

I promised you the results of my photo shoot with Lindsey of LL PhotographE, and here they are:)  We had so much fun doing the shoot, and I think that Pax did too!  His stomach had to hurt after all of the bribing with treats.......but the results were absolutely amazing!  Lindsey did a great job capturing my personality and I am so happy to have a new blog photo for Pax and I.

Office Facelift.

After 4 years of the same dull office day after day, I think it is finally time to MAKE A CHANGE.  When we moved into this office building in February of 2007 we were all given the oppurtunity to pick which office we wanted and what paint color we would like.  I am still SUPER happy with my paint color selection, gravel by Porter but I never did very much with the space past that point, so now it is time!  I decided to find some photos for inspiration!

I think this is SO COOL for an inspiration wall!

This picture is from Interior Design magazine, what a cool offce to work in everyday:)

This reminds me of my gray office with white furniture only cooler....

LOVE the yellow inspiration board.

How awesome is this desk?

Again with the yellow!
I LOVE white and this office is the coolest!

WOW what an amazing way to make use of a large wall.

love the chandelier wall decal!

I have white shelves like this in my office, maybe I need to brighten them up with some color!

hmmm I think that I have an idea for this:)

Now that I have some inspiration to liven up my office and have a killer place to post inspirational photos, I think I need some new art in my life because the current peice is just not cutting it!  I found these peices on etsy!

I went ahead and took before pictures of my office and I will keep you posted on the work in progress and when it is all done, I will post Before and After photos of course!

Outdoor Living

I do not know about all of you, but I know that spending time outdoors is on my mind!  Which means it is time to pay a little more attention to the spaces outside of your home, maybe outdoor living spaces, patios, decks, gardens, etc.  If your brain is not already rattling with ideas, I found some inspiration that is sure to get it going!

Virginia + Humberto Wedding Invitations

So over the past few days I have had the pleasure of creating invitations for the California love birds, Virginia and Humberto.  Today and tomorrow the invitations are making the trip from Indianapolis to LA!  I can not wait for the happy couple to receive them!! AHHHHH.
The invitations that I did for Virginia and Humberto are for sale on my etsy store and their friend Erin happened to find them and hired me to do the job!  Erin has been wonderful to work with and I bet that she has been a blessing for Virginia too....as those of us married women know, weddings are a huge undertaking, but SO worth it:)  I was happy to be a part of their day.  The invitation is my "Yellow Flower invitation" and they had me provide the envelopes and return address labels as well.  I also printed all of the mailing addresses onto the invitations.  Here they are:)

So fun, fresh and modern!  I LOVE MY JOB:)

Hailey's Sweet 16 Invitations

Earlier in the week I posted the Sweet 16 party that we coordinated and planned, but promised to later post the invitations, so here they are!  Again, Hailey requested Purple, Silver and Black and we did a branch/tree theme.  With that I came up with these killer custom invitations....well I thought they were killer, but maybe I am a bit biast, just a bit!

The invitation was inside of a black 5.75" square envelope that was lined with purple metallic paper.

Inside the black envelope was a silver metallic petal enclosure.  Photographed above is the back side of the enclosure which had a black circle seal.

The front of the enclosure, pictured above, had the branch design carved out of it with the purple showing behind.

When the guest removed the black seal and unfolded the enclosure, the invitation was revealed!  Much like the actual party there were many beautiful things that led the guests to the main event for the reveal!  These invitations were so fun and Hailey loved them.
